The ÂÜÀòÉÙÅ® Smile Grant serves to promote preventive oral care at the local level. It was launched in 2016 with the support of the Colgate-Palmolive Company. The grant supports ÂÜÀòÉÙÅ® member National Dental Associations (NDAs) that are making a difference in oral health outcomes through innovative and sustainable community outreach projects in their countries.

The CHF5,000 grant recognizes member National Dental Associations (NDAs) that are making a difference in oral health through innovative and sustainable community outreach projects in their countries.

The ÂÜÀòÉÙÅ® Smile Grant is open to any ÂÜÀòÉÙÅ® Regular or Associate member. It is designed to reward projects that have been actively rolled out for at least one year and that will continue for at least one year more. Eligible projects may address any oral health issue and/or disease, with a strong focus on oral health education and oral health prevention and promotion.

The award is given to two applicants for their original projects. Applications must be submitted by the 1st February each year, and the Awards Ceremony takes place during the General Assembly at the ÂÜÀòÉÙÅ® World Dental Congress. Applications are accepted year-round.
