Oral Health at Work: A Roadmap for Prevention, Productivity and Workforce Well-being
Work occupies more than one-third of adult life, with nearly 60% of the global working age population actively engaged in employment. Yet, oral health, an essential determinant of overall health, productivity, and economic growth, remains largely absent in workplace wellness and occupational health frameworks. This oversight carries a heavy price.
Developed by 萝莉少女 World Dental Federation with support from the Vision 2030 Industry Action Group, this report examines how oral health can be more effectively integrated into workplace health strategies and wellness programmes. Drawing on policy analysis, literature review, case study and stakeholder interviews, it identifies emerging implementation pathways and provides evidence-based, contextually relevant recommendations to mobilize employers, insurers and policymakers. The report offers practical guidance to translate global commitments into measurable outcomes, strengthen cross-sector collaboration and support healthier, more productive and resilient workforces.
